SCAM WARNING

Dear Customers,

We are aware of recent SCAM attempts using fake receipts with our logo printed on them.
These fake receipts are usually handwritten and bear no resemblance to our own company receipts.
Please Note: We never issue handwritten receipts, quotes, invoices or valuations.

In this particular case, the goods in question are fake and would have never been sold by us. The scammer is simply trying to use our good name and reputation as family business since 1971 to make these items look legitimate.
Buying goods from online marketplaces such as Facebook is a risk, and we advise having any jewellery items professionally tested and valued before handing over any money.

Information to help prevent you from becoming a victim of fraud and SCAMS:

  • Stop, look and evaluate. Take your time and carry out the necessary checks before proceeding with any action.
  • Check for spelling errors and grammar or syntax errors.
  • If something seems suspicious, walk away and report it.
  • In the event of any doubt, check our website for relevant announcements.

We advise you to be extra careful and cautious. A.R.Smith Jewellers accepts no responsibility for any costs, charges or payments made not in accordance with the procedures, as a result of fraudulent activity.
